The Delaware Stuttering Project is currently recruiting a number of participants for a variety of studies including the following groups:

Children between 6-13 years old

Criteria:

With and without a history of developmental stuttering
Formal diagnosis not required
No history of cognitive or neurological impairments
Not taking medication affecting brain function
Other limited criteria apply – please inquire

Participants may take part in:

Language assessments
Speech motor skills evaluation
Brain scans

Compensation:

Compensation will be available for your time and travel.

Children between 8-17 years old

Criteria:

With and without fluency disorders (stuttering/cluttering)
Formal diagnosis not required
No history of cognitive or neurological impairments
Not taking medication affecting brain function
Other limited criteria apply – please inquire

Participants may take part in:

Brain wave recording (EEG)
Behavioral tasks

Compensation:

Compensation will be available for your time and travel.

Adults between 18 - 65 years old
